Daily Charme Review & Swatches

Hi everyone! Today I bring you another gorgeous Indie line, The Los Angeles Collection from Daily Charme. I was so excited to try out this brand new line especially when the first collection was inspired by such a staple city surrounding my hometown. And they are gorgeous! So let's get on with it!

SUNSET
This beauty is packed, I mean packed with glitter. Gold and silver holographic glitters and bigger gold hex glitters. It is very condensed. It is a little thick but that's because it's literally packed, but it still applies great! This is one decent coat!

MELROSE
Is a pink jelly base with hot pink and gold glitters. This was beautiful and so easy to apply. Just the right amount of glitter. Here is two coats over Milani "Tip Toe Pink". I feel like there's a bunch of little cherries on my nails! So cute.

HOLLYWOOD
Is a black jelly base with gold dot glitter and smaller gold and black glitters which you can't see because I've put it over black. Here is two coats over Colour Gossip "Rumors". Applied great and no fishing at all for those dots. I think this is a great depiction. Reminds of the city lights at night. (Sorry for the pink reflection of my camera. I'm hoping to have a new one by the end of the year).

WILSHIRE
Is a clear base glitter topper with pastel and iridescent glitters, and holographic hearts! This one is so pretty! Don't really have to fish but as you see I didn't get a heart every time. Here it is paired over OPI "Mod About You" and Sally Hansen "Mint Sorbet". I couldn't decide which one I wanted to use so I did both. Now I'm kind of wanting to do this one again over black and matte it. Haha. Maybe it'll be my next mani.

BEVERLY
Is an electric blue jelly base with various black glitters and big dot glitters! Soooo gorgeous! No fishing at all here. This one is basically perfection. From formulation, to glitter retrieval. Here is three coats on it's own. I didn't build it up quite as much as I would have liked because I felt like my nails were starting to get overwhelmed with glitters. I think in the future, I would apply another regular blue jelly base like Revlon "Royal" or Essie "Bouncer, it's me" first to get a little opacity going and then do a couple layers of this. But I love this one!

MULHOLLAND
Is a purple plum jelly base with gold and fuschia glitters and large pink dot glitters! Now I know what everyone's thinking. This is a replica of Emily de Molly's "Cosmic Forces". I have never seen Cosmic Forces in person but from what I can tell in pictures Mulholland is much lighter and the glitters are a bit different. So anyways, this baby is soooo beautiful! After seeing the application of Beverly I decided with this one to go ahead and put a base color on so I could get a little more opacity without overwhelming the nail with glitter. I know you guys are going "why would you not want a bunch of glitter? glitter is amazing!" and I know. But with these polishes that have such large glitters, if you get too much you don't really get to see all of it's wonderful beauty and it just gets cluttered. So here is about 2 coats of Mulholland over Fergie "L.A. Pride". I had to fish a little bit for the big dot glitters but they were pretty easy to find.

And here's another photo in different lighting. I couldn't get a color accurate photo. The first one came out much cooler and this one is much warmer. It's kind of in the middle of both. Haha.

I love love love this collection. They are all soooooooo gorgeous and such a great way to represent the city of Los Angeles. They did a really great job for a first collection! This collection is a great mix of different polishes. Glitter toppers, solid glitter polish, and jelly bases. I can't wait to see more from this brand! I am happy to have them in my collection.
