Holiday Leopard & Chevron

Hi guys!!! So I finally have some nail art for you!!! I kept it simple and what I know I'm good at because I'm completely out of practice but I think I still got it! I did this really cute holiday themed look including my famous chevron and some leopard spots that were both inspired by some Christmas ribbon at my work.

Colors used:
Sally Hansen - Green With Envy
Nicole by OPI - Please Red-Cycle
Island Girl - Island Paradise
Dashing Housewife Polish - Under the Mistletoe
Different Dimension - Good Evening Clarice

I love how this came out! I think I might have this be my Christmas mani but maybe change out the leopard spots for a Christmas tree! We shall see! Hopefully I get to do more designs this month! Thank you to those who stuck around through all my swatching! Love y'all!

Fancy Gloss Swatches - Available December 6

Today I bring three amazing color shifting polishes from Fancy Gloss! These will be available December 6 at http://fancygloss.bigcartel.com/.

LIQUID LAVA
An orange and pink shifty shimmery polish. Usually I don't care for finishes like this but man oh man the color changes are so pretty! I especially love the bottle shots! This is two coats plus topcoat.

MOLTEN METAL
At first glance in the bottle you think "Oh this is so close to Liquid Lava" but clearly you can see Molten Metal is much more purple. Again, two coats plus topcoat.

OIL SLICK
A purple/green/gold shift. I don't think this one looks very good on me but it is a gorgeous polish. And again I can't get over the bottle shot! Two coats, plus topcoat.

Don't forget these are available Friday, December 6 at http://fancygloss.bigcartel.com/!!! And be sure to follow on Instagram @fancygloss for updates!

Dashing Housewife Polish - Christmas Cheer Collection

Today I have swatches of the Christmas Cheer Collection from Dashing Housewife Polish. There was one polish that I really really loved, one that was really nice, but the rest sadly were just too thick. I wish I could give everybody raving reviews but I am always honest and will tell you guys the truth. In my opinions most of these were thicker than I like.

But everyones opinion is different so if you'd like to check them out yourself now is a great time to buy! She is running a Cyber Monday sale here http://www.etsy.com/shop/dashinghousewife!!!

UNDER THE MISTLETOE
Starting with my favorite!!! I love this one so much! made up of a mix of red and green glitters including hearts and dots! You definitely have to have this one! Formula was nice. With clear glitter mixes I don't mind if it's just a little thick because sometimes it grabs the glitters better. This is two coats over Sally Hansen "Green With Envy" plus shiny topcoat...

...and MATTE!!!! Ah I just love it!

HOLIDAY CHEERMEISTER
Another glitter base glitter topper made of of various greenand silver glitters. Really nice polish but didn't thrill me. Perhaps I should have chosen a different base color. But again formula was good. This is two coats over white.

SANTA BABY
A bright pink glitter bomb with hints of silver. Really pretty polish. It was ok on the first coat then on the second coat started to get a little thick. I think this one is doable if you make sure to do maybe three or four seriously thin coats. This is two coats plus topcoat.

SNOW IS GLISTENING
A white shimmery white crelly base with iridescent glitters. I did not like this one. It was too thick and the glitters got lost. I thick if the formla was thinner and slightly less opaque the glitters would shine through more. Two coats.

FROSTED COOKIE
Another white shimmery crelly base with bright pink and turquoise glitters. It really does look like a frosted cookie! The formula on this one was so bad. A little bit on the thick side but manageable. Two coats.

FROSTBITE
A light blue shimmery base with silver, blue and purple glitters. This was one of the thickest ones. This is two coats.

MINTER WONDERLAND
A mint green shimmer base with white glitters. I really wanted to like this one! Again it was quite thick :( This is two coats.

BABY IT'S COLD OUTSIDE
A shimmery turquoise polish. Again just too thick and not really my style.

Please check out their Cyber Monday sale going on right now at http://www.etsy.com/shop/dashinghousewife!!! Try them out for yourself and you have to have Under the Mistletoe!!!!

Duh-Nail Polish - It's A Misfits Holiday Collection

Today I have the twelve piece It's A Misfits Holiday Collection from Duh-Nail Polish. I like a couple from this collection but overall I wasn't very pleased. The biggest problems I found was terrible settling that didn't want to mix and they are quite thick and pull during application. So much different from previous polishes I've received from them.

SUCH A MISFIT
White crelly base with blue pink and gold glitters. This is a little thicker than I'd like but it wasn't terrible. It also glows in the dark which I totally forgot and didn't get a picture of. This is two coats.

ABOMINABLE SNOWMADS
Another white crelly base with larger blue and pink glitters. Also glows in the dark but again I fail at life. Haha! Here is two coats.

SPOTTED ELEPHANT
A light gray crelly base with light and medium pink dots and white hexes. Again a bit thick :( This is two coats.

SNOW MISER
A shimmery white crelly base with purple hexes and tiny blue glitters. Again thick formula, and just nothing spectacular. This is two coats.

MISFIT ISLAND
A blue crelly base with silver, blue and white glitters. I love the color of this but just wish the formula was better. Again two coats.

CHARLIE IN THE BOX
This one is a little bit more unique. A shimmery green base with multicolored glitters. Two coats.

CHRISTMAS TOWN
A light green base with gold and silver glitters. One of the thickest ones. Two coats.

MRS CLAUS SUGAR PLUMS
A purple jelly base with various magenta and purple glitters. I really really wanted to love this one! But I just could not reach all the beautiful glitters and again the formula was just too thick.

HEAT MISER
A really pretty bright red with gold flakes. This one of the better ones as far as formula goes. Not amazing but definitely better. Two coats.

SHINY RED NOSE
A pinky red jelly with scatter microglitter. Again not so bad on the formula on this one. But the settling was awful. This has small circle glitters in but as you can see, I didn't get a single one. Wah wah!

JINGLE JINGLE JINGLE
A clear base glitter topper. I really like this one and how this came out but I have seen it done before. Here I've layered it over Nicole by OPI "Please Red-Cycle".

SILVER AND GOLD
The name basically explains it all. This is really pretty and I really like it over this dark gray base. This is over Zoya "Kelly" my first and favorite Zoya polish.

So overall I probably wouldn't have purchased any of these myself. Some of them had great potential but just fell short with the formula. These are all available now at http://www.etsy.com/shop/duhnailpolish. And be sure to follow on Instagram @duh_nailpolish!

BEAUTIFUL COLLISION
A lilac crelly base with eight different matter glitters. Here is three thin coats plus topcoat.

AURORAE
A black holo with green flecks and a purple-to-gold shimmer, as well as two different iridescent glitters. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this one and is what I am wearing for Thanksgiving even though it's not exactly festive. This is two coats plus topcoat.

Pipedream Polish - Lorde Gatsby Collection

Today I have a few polishes from the Lorde Gatsby Collection by Pipedream Polish! Inspiration for this collection were a combination of the movie The Great Gatsby and music by the singer Lorder. My fave at the moment! And must I say....I love Pipedream labels, they're so cute and I loved how these all photographed together!

FEELING SWEET
Made up of frost white and purple glitter with silver-white and violet micro flakies in a blue jelly base. I love this! It's so pretty! Here is two coats plus topcoat.

BALL GOWNS
Made up of pastel lavender, mint, and pink circle and hex glitter with a touch of shimmer in a light gray crelly base. So delicate and dainty looking. Milky white/gray polishes are some of my faves! Here is two coats plus topcoat.

IN THE DARKNESS
Made up of sapphire and purple iridescent glitter with micro silver shimmer in a black base. Here is one coat over black plus topcoat, but it can be opaque on it's own in three coats but I wouldn't recommend that because I found this one too be a teeny bit thick. I couldn't imagine doing three coats.

These are all available now at http://www.etsy.com/shop/pipedreampolish!!! And be sure to follow on Instagram @pipedreampolish for updates and new releases!

Noodles Nail Polish - Holiday Collection

Today I have a new to me indie polish line from Noodles Nail Polish. Today I'll be showing you her Holiday Collection!!!

BERRY FESTIVE
A classic red polish with tiny micro gold flakes. Seriously guys.......this is ONE COAT!!!! Really??? I can't, absolutely stunning.

FROSTED CRANBERRY
A reddish pink creme with a scattered holo. Seriously again...this polish...I just can't. I can't take it! ONE FRIGGIN COAT!!! First swipe and I was floored. You should have seen my reaction. "Holy s............!" AH-MA-ZING! I love a couple of the glitter bombs in this collection but I think I would definitely say this is my FAVORITE!!!! I mean, just look at it! You HAVE to HAVE this one!

'TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS
A clear based glitter topper with various red, green and gold hex glitter and gold holographic moons. So fun and unique! Here is two coats over "Berry Festive" with a glossy topcoat...

...and you know I can't resist to matte everything, so here it is matte :)

FIRST SNOW
I love this one! A mix of matte white glitters including hexes, circles and snowflakes!!! Also has small iridescent glitters throughout. This is so fun! It really does look like snow! Here is two coats over Zoya "Blu".

OH! CHRISTMAS TREE!
A clear based glitter topper with various green, gold, lilac and red glitters! It reminds me of when you take a slightly blurry picture of a lit Christmas tree and get that bokeh effect from the lights. Paired over a dark green base it looks like a really cool jelly! Here is two coats over Love, Angeline "Emerald City" with a glossy topcoat...

...and matte :)

MR. GRINCH
Another favorite! A clear base glitter topper with various neon green and white matte hexes and red hearts! I wish it didn't so closely match my base so you could see the glitters better but this is just too cute! Two coats over Lime Crime "Pastelchio".

These are all available now at http://www.etsy.com/shop/noodlesnailpolish!!!! Go get 'em!
