Hi guys! I haven't blogged in ages! Ok, only like a month but that's a long time. I've been so busy over the last couple months I was just quickly painting my nails most the time without putting in any real effort. Definitely not anything worthy of you guys! I did manage to do a few designs here and there and I'll recap them for you here today! If you follow me on Instagram then you will have seen these but if not then here you go! I won't be including swatches in this post, only nail designs I've done.
Well I can't find the original design I did of this but imagine there is another section but in black over the glitter. This was inspired by @nailsofjessiek on IG. We did a #maniswap tag together so if you'd like to see the original look that inspired this and her designs, go to my Instagram @lusterlacquer. Here I used Sinful Colors "24/7", Icing "Glamorous" and the black I use in the original design is Orly "Liquid Vinyl". And now I realize I never posted this one, so I'll be doing that soon. lol
This is one of my favorites! I did this one obviously for Christmas. The base is
Lime Crime "Parfait Day", the glitter is
Serum No. 5 "Holly Dazed" and the tree I used acrylic paint! It was my first time ever using acrylic paint and seriously it's a game changer! So much eaiser to work with than polish. Thank you
Shaneka for sending me some paints! Star stud is from
Born Pretty Store.
Another classic during the winter/holidays to me is the Coca Cola polar bear commercials. When I received the acrylic paints one of the first designs I wanted to do was something inspired by Coca Cola. So this is what I came up with. I know the logo is not perfect. I started to run out of room so the Cola is a little crunched and my lines are little messy but I am still totally proud of this! My red base is Nicole by OPI "Please Red-cycle" and the rest is all acrylic paint.
This is so simple but I love it!!!!!!!! Base is Island Girl "Molokai Dream" and the studs are from
Born Pretty Store. This pink is just perfection!
Happy New Year!!!!! Here is what I did for New Years Eve. I wanted to add to this but I wasn't liking how it was turning out so I just left it. I'll have to get a color list later because I can't remember everything I used. lol. PS.....by birthday is in 9 days (1/14)!! Be expecting some birthday manis, hopefully!
Alright guys, that wraps up the end of 2013! I'm sorry my blog took the back seat for awhile but I promise I will keep up with it now. Love you all!!! I hope you all have a prosperous 2014!
